Take one carton of any fruit juice or mixed fruit juice, pour into a clear jug and top up with lemonade or sparkling water. Add chopped green fruit such as kiwi and pear.
Then comes the fun part – give the kids a packet of space dust each to add to the jug and make it fizz and crackle.

Speedy Margaritas
This is what was actually in the silver cocktail jug at Lucy’s 40th birthday bash in the ‘Wolds. It’s really easy to make in large quantities, and if it lacks a little flair and finesse, well, no-one seemed to be complaining much.
You will need:
• 2 parts tequila, as good as you can afford
• 2 parts 7 up or sprite
• 1 part Cointreau or triple sec
• 1 part freshly squeezed lime juice
• Salt to taste
Mix together, strain through ice and serve.
